WNC at the Parade

On Memorial Day, Monday, May 26th, several members of the Winnetka NC, and some of their little ones (three smiling kids and a happy dog) marched along Sherman Way in the annual Canoga Park/West Hills Chamber of Commerce Memorial Day Parade.

As the parade now includes Winnetka, the Council entered a parade vehicle for the first time. The Council’s delegation marched along the parade route very near the end of the queue carrying brooms and dustpans to encourage parade-goers to clean up their community and to promote the Council’s upcoming First Annual Spring Clean on Saturday, May 31st, starting at Quimby Park.
