WNC Spearheaded Spring Clean 2014

The WNC Public Works and Transportation Committee organized this years Spring Clean, held on Saturday, May 31. Members of the WNC Board participated along with the community in cleaning up two areas: Quimby Park and the area to the east and the Winnetka Metro Station and environs. City Councilmember Bob Blumenfield provided a truck to pick up large items like TVs and mattresses. The F250 pick up made three runs to the dump to clear the area.
