Greening and Improving Local Parks

Expanding community access to open spaces and improving recreational facilities in the West Valley are top priorities for Councilmember Blumenfield.

Over 60 new trees were planted at Winnetka Park thanks to the leadership of the Los Angeles Beautification Team and Recreation and Parks Department who will be preserving and maintaining the trees.

Several dozen trees were also adopted by community members to grow in their backyard or display in their home.
